Following the my previous post about the daily morning and evening journaling, I want to dig deeper into setting intentions:
Setting intentions for everything helps me to not just get pushed through the day, 5min there, 5min there, meeting that person, chit chat about this and that and after finally getting through the day falling into bed and up for the next day run.
I am currently trying to literally set intentions for everything. Let's run through the example today Saturday
- wake up and just lie in bed with my phone
Since I started coaching I can't remember when was the last time I was able to properly sleep in. Ok, couldn't really sleep in this time either, but I wanted to have some time in bed just chilling. - doing my morning routine and don't let it break to keep my mental game going
Once I am in my routing, I usually only do it during the week, but it felt so good this week, that I want to keep doing it on the weekend. Especially when I am not drinking I can easily do that
- Coach a HIIT class and make it a damn good class
After the crossfit regionals yesterday I can certainly feel a motivation push and really want to dig the sports track. The designed workout is fun, playlist works, this time I will push the guys even more and make it an awesome class
- 2hrs me time
Damn, I've been missing the wknd me time. The daily stuff during the week is easier than the wknd time. The daily steps however are more tactical through the day, the wknd ones are the strategic ones which are obviously at least equally important. "Nothing is worse than efficiently going into the wrong direction." Intention is to go through each and single step to reflect, set goals for the next week and read some of my bookmarked articles - Going to Nike's open gym to get to know calisthenics and ask how to become a Nike Master Trainer
- Design the workout for Monday and make it another great workout, setting the bar higher for myself
- meeting with friends and being fully present, because I went through all my personal points through the day and can shut that part of my brain off fully being there with them and asking them how they are, deepening the relationships
- Going to bad without having drunk alcohol to be fit tmrw!
