Reflection is one way into mindfulness

I've started doing morning and especially evening journals again.

The last week, every day in the morning I went through the following points

Morning
- 3 things I am grateful for
- Goals for the day/intentions for the day
- Affirmation

Evening
- 3 things that were great
- 3 things that could have been better
- things I learned

Each of the questions/points comes with its own benefit(s). The point I am focusing on right now is especially the reflection in general in the evening. Looking back and investigating what was good/what could be better makes me more aware the next day to look out for the same patterns. So, let's say I have a quite unstructured day and didn't get a lot done, I will make sure to change that the next day.

Or if I was eating badly, I will make sure to set my day up to eat better.
